This Sunday's (2009-07-19) episode of Butterfly, Butterfly You Were Born So Beautiful, hosted by Aben and HuDieJieJie, will feature Lollipop as guests. Lollipop will be examining women's beauty and hygiene products and will also talk about their recent I Am Legend Concert at Hong Kong's Coliseum.

2009-07-14 Aben Wretch Album Update: Pictures of MoFanBangBangTang's Last Day

Aben also wrote a short tribute to every member of Choc 7, FanFan, RongJia, AndyGe, B2Ge, AoQuan, XiaoJie, WangZi and WeiLian, as well as other members of the MFBBT crew.

To WeiYu: I have a delicate relationship with you. You are someone whom I can have a good conversation with and you are an extremely adorable child. Yet, at times you are so immature that it makes me want to strangle you. But above all we are in Choc 7 together and so we are brothers. We still have a long way to go. Keep taking lots of handsome photographs of us! I love you, little king of dance.

To MaoDi: It is hard to imagine but you have really grown up. At least I don't look too old next to you! The other day I had a good talk with your father and I feel as though I am your other father, watching you grow up and mature day by day. The less you say, the more serious you have become. We will strive to turn Choc 7 into a super group together!

To YeShou: Hey, handsome boy! It is very easy to get along with you. You are just as crazy as XiaoBing and Duoduo. You are a really hilarious person. I'm very glad to be in Choc 7 with you. I know that you are under a lot of pressure although you say that nothing's the matter. We can keep you happy and strive towards our goal together. We are one.

To XiaoMa: To the both mature and naive Ah Ma, we have come so far together and even completed a stage in our lives together. Although we had considered giving up numerous times, we have made it into Choc 7. However, this is only the beginning. Add oil!

To XiaoLu: After you sang the last song, XiaoMa and I kept playing your video over and over again. We are very proud of your voice! We aspire to sing as well as you! You are really a good singer and have an original sense of humour. I also love chatting with you and performing as well. Add oil!

To LiQuan: Talented fool, you have recently become stronger. It is great to be in Choc 7 with you, you are one heck of a son!

From a glance, the exercise regime at the beginning of the episode appears valuable to watch as it gives detailed ideas on how to tone particular areas of the body. Furthermore, Aben creates a laugh, whilst doing the exercises with the rest of the girls, as per usual.

The focus for this episode was on maintaining healthy skin. In particular, Aben stated that it is also important for men to moisturise, despite the fact that their skin tends to be oily. Aben revealed that in the past, he had concentrated on removing oils as part of his cleaning regime, whilst ignoring moisturising completely. This, in fact, caused his skin to become even oilier.

2009-06-15 Butterfly, Butterfly, You Were Born So Beautiful

This was a hilarious episode, as XiaoTianTian kept it very high. Aben stated that the other six members from Choc 7 bumped into XiaoTianTian at the movies and Aben joked that he was glad he was absent! XiaoTianTian recalled how she had been scolded by Aben's fans because last time she came on the show, she accidentally pushed Aben over on top of a walking frame!

There is also some rivalry between XiaoTianTian and HuDieJieJie for Show Luo's affections, as both are fans of Show. Also watch YuLeBaiFenBai to hear Show's jokes about this.

In this episode, the exercise segment at the beginning has been altered into an exercise game. Aben kept forgetting to add on actions during his turn and received black cross stickers all over his face.

Choc 7 Reveals the Truth on Behind-The-Scenes DVD

This article revealed some of the content on the behind-the-scenes DVD that came with Choc 7’s ‘Tai Qing Chun’ EP.

In the DVD, there was a section where every member shared experiences close to their heart.

Aben expressed that he seldom says things close to his heart on the show, as he mainly concentrates on performing or making everybody laugh.

In the past, WeiYu’s father has been particularly strict on his onscreen performance and after not doing so well on an elimination round, his father actually threw WeiYu out of the house. As a result, WeiYu had to live at his friend’s house for a month but on some occasions, his friend did not come home so WeiYu had to sleep in the streets or on his motorcycle. This caused WeiYu to be extremely depressed and he would often secretly hide to cry alone. However, this experience empowered WeiYu to stand up for himself and be more determined.

Out of the seven members, MaoDi, LiQuan and YeShou have never been in a proper relationship and Aben has been in the most relationships. In fact, Aben has been in up to seven relationships in the past. As a result, Aben joked that all the other members admire him in this aspect!

AndyGe responded that some members have expressed their desire to be in a relationship before, and clarified that there is no rule that stops them from doing so. In fact, there is nothing related to love and partners in the contract. However, he hopes that MaoDi, for example, would only be in a relationship after he turns twenty. This is because AndyGe believes that the three members, who haven’t had a relationship before, would quickly get into one just for the sake of it and end up hurting themselves. MaoDi revealed that the group has discussed this issue on several occasions but he is in no rush to get into a relationship. LiQuan added that he also does not have any particular wish to be in a relationship and that YeShou is the only one who hopes to be in one by next year, so that he would be the first out of the three to have the experience!

In addition, YeShou’s weight problem has been a burden for AndyGe. YeShou stated that before he came on MoFanBangBangTang he had been 67kg and then afterwards he gained weight until he was 80kg. Currently, he is 76kg. AndyGe joked that if YeShou does not lose 5kg within the next six months, Choc 7 would become Choc 6 and he would open a new group for YeShou, called ‘Fat Candy’, instead!

As one of YeShou’s closer friends, LiQuan revealed that YeShou does not have enough self-control to lose weight. He would successfully eat less for about two days before eating hearty meals again.

2009-05-28 Choc 7 Celebrate The Dragon Boat Festival

In the spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival, Choc 7 shared their goals and aspirations for the future. In particular, Choc 7 hoped to be able to fulfill their dream of holding a concert at Xiao Zhu Dan, like their seniors Lollipop.




Significantly, during the shoot, Choc 7 participated in an activity, where the member who succeeds in keeping an egg intact for the longest time could be group leader for a day! As a result, YeShou won and looked forward to having the privilege to boss everyone around.




However, as the official group leader, Aben expressed that having a leadership role actually isn't as good as it sounds, because he would always have to be the one cleaning up the rubbish and putting back all the members' clothes. Furthermore, Aben joked that children are difficult to teach nowadays. In response, all the other members praised Aben for having endured them!



MaoDi revealed that the group leader was chosen based on age and also how wise the member is. Therefore, he stated that Aben rightfully deserves this role.

2009-05-27 Choc 7 on VJ Ke

Choc 7 promoted the upcoming release of their EP on 2009-05-27's episode of VJ Ke.

Significantly, it was confirmed that Aben is the leader of the group.

Choc 7 also discussed how they took a long time to think of their group name, initially coming up with random names like Bai Xie Nan Hai ('White Shoed Boys')!

It was revealed that the meaning behind Choc 7 (Chao Ke Qi) actually aligns itself with their slogan: 'Seven boys. Incredibly Courageous. Endures Challenges. Incredibly Well-Mannered. Incredibly Popular'. The 'Chao' character represents their exemplary courage and the 'Ke' character represents their willingness to overcome difficulties. Finally, 'Qi' symbolises how the group is composed of seven individuals with different strengths.

Choc 7 expressed that their biggest challenge at the moment is to master the choreography for their three songs, as they can sometimes get their formations wrong and also react slowly. Furthermore, XiaoLu and YeShou both fell sick during recording, so they had to work hard to get their vocals to be at their best.

Choc 7 also shared some funny stories that occured during recording. WeiYu explained how 'Deng Shen Me' includes some English lyrics and it took him a while to pronounce 'shake, shake, like this'. As a result, the recording for this particular song actually turned out to be mainly an English lecture! In addition, LiQuan revealed how he once absent-mindedly got some iced water to drink when he was thirsty. When LiQuan remembered that he was not supposed to drink cold water whilst recording, he secretly poured the ice onto the floor.

The three songs on the EP is designed to symbolise different aspects of Choc 7's youth. 'Tai Qing Chun' reflects on their passionate side, whilst 'Deng Shen Me' shows off the energetic side and 'Wo Tai Ben' exhibits their emotional side. 'Tai Qing Chun' will be released 2009-05-29.

2009-05-23 Aben and XiaoLu on LiuXing in HOUSE

Aben and XiaoLu were on LiuXing in HOUSE on Saturday again. This time, they were promoting products to keep the body in shape for summer! XiaoLu's demonstration of the nose clip and face slimmer was particularly hilarious.
