2009-07-04~05 Choc 7 Guest Perform At Lollipop's "I Am Legend" Concert
Choc 7 were the featured guest performers at the opening of Lollipop's "I Am Legend" Asia Concert Tour at the Coliseum in Hong Kong.
They did an orderly and entertaining group performance on the Chinese Drums. From the video, WeiYu and YeShou are on the large bass drums and clockwise on the standard drums are Aben (out of view), LiQuan, XiaoMa, XiaoLu and MaoDi:
Choc 7 also performed 'Tai Qing Chun' and 'Deng Shen Me' from their new EP, with choreography particularly suited to the four-sided stage. During the instrumental bridge of 'Tai Qing Chun', Choc 7 did a much anticipated, live-band performance on the instruments they have been learning:
In addition, Choc 7 performed with Lollipop for the martial arts inspired song, 'Cang Jing Ge'. This was choreographed as though Lollipop was battling with Choc 7. Choc 7 were dressed in black and red imperial kung fu costumes:
In the dance break of 'Cang Jing Ge', MaoDi performed a Taekwondo routine with WangZi:

Choc 7 also performed Lollipop's 'YES' from their first album and 'Hei Tang Xiu' from the Brown Sugar Macchiato (Hei Tang Ma Qi Duo) Soundtrack, wearing very colourful costumes:
At the end of the concert, each member of Lollipop gave a short speech. WangZi talked about his close relationship with brother MaoDi. WangZi asked the audience who he had known for the longest apart from his parents and everyone already knew that he was going to talk about MaoDi.
Against a backdrop of their childhood photos, WangZi revealed how MaoDi had informed him about MoFanBangBangTang whilst they were shopping at the mall where auditions were being held. As it was summer holidays, they decided to try out. Unexpectedly, they were both selected for the show.
Hence, WangZi thanked all their fans for supporting them to this day and giving them the opportunity to perform in their own groups.
WangZi also expressed how he was too shy to tell MaoDi that he loves him. Despite predicting that MaoDi would throw up if he was onstage, WangZi expressed his love for his brother with five words from an Aaron Kwok song: 'I can't stop loving you'.

2009-07-06 Choc 7 on YuLe NP3
In this episode of YuLe NP3, Choc 7 were shown having a photoshoot for Color Magazine. They have adopted a unique rock look for this shoot.
In addition, Choc 7 revealed that they are going to be concentrating on their examinations very soon and wish all those with exams coming up the best of luck.

This next episode of Yu Le NP3 features Choc 7 rehearsing for Lollipop's 'I am Legend' Concert in Hong Kong. Choc 7 will be doing a special performance on Thai drums. In particular, Aben expressed that the beat is very complicated and is making him pull funny faces in concentration. With their intensive practice regime, blisters are also forming all over their hands.

Lollipop expressed their feelings of pride regarding Choc 7's success on their first EP. The EP has been doing very well since its release and many fans have attended their autograph events.
In particular, WeiLian stated that Choc 7 have given Lollipop some pressure to improve and he found their choreography to be particularly impressive.

Here is my English translation of the article:
After the widespread success of Lollipop across Asia, MoFanQiBang is finally prepared to debut this May under the name of Choc 7. They are now signed to Gold Typhoon and hence are the record label juniors of Lollipop, as well as Show Luo and A-Mei. Choc 7 will present a youthful image in their debut album. Lollipop and MoFanQiBang have had a headache attempting to decide on their permanent group name. They considered names such as ‘Bai Xie Nan Hai’, ‘Jiang Xiao Tuan’ and ‘Gao Xiao Sheng’. Finally, AndyGe came up with the name Choc 7, along with the tagline ‘very polite, very popular, very brave and very hardworking’.
The lyrics for their debut song, ‘Tai Qing Chun’, were written by Lollipop. This marks Lollipop’s first time in writing lyrics for another artist. In response, Aben describes ‘Tai Qing Chun’ as a very vibrant song with a rock sound and with lyrics very passionately written by Lollipop. The rest of Choc 7 are also very happy with the result and were extremely touched by Lollipop’s participation in producing it.
As advocates for Taiwan’s ‘Yu Shan Cup’, Choc 7’s new MV also features the group dressed in baseball outfits and playing on the field. The baseball theme particularly caused Choc 7’s diehard baseball fans, MaoDi, LiQuan and XiaoLu, to run and jump all over the field on the day of shooting in pure excitement. Significantly, MaoDi expressed that shooting the MV did not feel like work at all, due to the fact that they had the opportunity to hold a bat and ball!
Hopefully, Choc 7 will become the hottest group this summer!

New MoFanBangBangTang!
Get ready for an all new MoFanBangBangTang!
MoFanBangBangTang is re-inventing itself again, with a new series incorporating Lollipop, MoFanQiBang and the two SanJun members, HuYa and AhJie!
The set, uniform, opening dance and programme have all been completely re-designed!
It is also known that XiaoZhu is a guest in the launching episode.
Sounds like an exciting change, so I can't wait to see what it's like!

MoFanQiBang on VJ PuPuFeng
From November, each member of MoFanQiBang has been taking turns hosting VJ PuPuFeng on Channel [V] and some clips have been gradually uploaded on tudou and YouTube.

XiaoLu is the host here, but MaoDi came to steal the spotlight. He jokingly invites XiaoLu to have a drink of some nice, rich soup together, and they end up promoting the [V] Power concert.

The focus for this episode was the MV's of artists, who performed at the [V] Power Concert. Thus, Aben promoted Lollipop's 'CangJingGe', which was the theme song for HeiTangQunXiaZhuan, as well as 黑GIRL's 'Jiao JieJie' (Call Me Big Sister) and he also praised 黑GIRL's new image.
Aben also mentioned that Show Luo's performing style was a major inspiration to the MFBBT didis, especially those who wanted to learn how to dance.
Aben stated that, at the moment, he likes Rainie Yang's title track, 'Dai Wo Zhou' (Take Me Away), which features on her new album. It is also one of the insert songs in Rainie's drama, 'BuLiang XiaoHua' (Miss No Good), which Aben thoroughly enjoys.

This episode introduced Japanese songs. A significant song, which reminds Aben of the fraternity between WangZi and MaoDi is The Birthday's, 'I Love You'. Recently, MaoDi celebrated his 18th birthday (on 2008/10/29) and WangZi gave MaoDi a new motorbike! Aben also stated that the two brothers have an invaluably close relationship and really care for one another.

When Aben was introducing the song, 'QingShu' (Love Letter) by FanYiChen, which is the theme song for the highly acclaimed film, Cape No.7, Aben commented that he recently watched Cape No.7 with WangZi, MaoDi and LiQuan (whom he affectionately calls Li Ke). After the movie, Aben asked everyone which movie they liked, out of Cape No.7 and Winds of September, to which WangZi and LiQuan replied, 'Cape No.7 is a bit better to watch!' This made MaoDi's face change colour and defend Winds of September by saying that both films were of different genres and cannot be compared, haha.
