Choc 7 promoted the upcoming release of their EP on 2009-05-27's episode of VJ Ke.

Significantly, it was confirmed that Aben is the leader of the group.

Choc 7 also discussed how they took a long time to think of their group name, initially coming up with random names like Bai Xie Nan Hai ('White Shoed Boys')!

It was revealed that the meaning behind Choc 7 (Chao Ke Qi) actually aligns itself with their slogan: 'Seven boys. Incredibly Courageous. Endures Challenges. Incredibly Well-Mannered. Incredibly Popular'. The 'Chao' character represents their exemplary courage and the 'Ke' character represents their willingness to overcome difficulties. Finally, 'Qi' symbolises how the group is composed of seven individuals with different strengths.

Choc 7 expressed that their biggest challenge at the moment is to master the choreography for their three songs, as they can sometimes get their formations wrong and also react slowly. Furthermore, XiaoLu and YeShou both fell sick during recording, so they had to work hard to get their vocals to be at their best.

Choc 7 also shared some funny stories that occured during recording. WeiYu explained how 'Deng Shen Me' includes some English lyrics and it took him a while to pronounce 'shake, shake, like this'. As a result, the recording for this particular song actually turned out to be mainly an English lecture! In addition, LiQuan revealed how he once absent-mindedly got some iced water to drink when he was thirsty. When LiQuan remembered that he was not supposed to drink cold water whilst recording, he secretly poured the ice onto the floor.

The three songs on the EP is designed to symbolise different aspects of Choc 7's youth. 'Tai Qing Chun' reflects on their passionate side, whilst 'Deng Shen Me' shows off the energetic side and 'Wo Tai Ben' exhibits their emotional side. 'Tai Qing Chun' will be released 2009-05-29.
